I called uscis today and the lady was really surprised that we hadn't heard anything back after mailing AOs and EAD 15 days ago. We gave her my wife's information and she isn't even in the system yet. She put in a service request to see what's going on. She told me to call back on Monday with a confirmation number and see if it's been resolved.

My fear is that there is something weird going on with USCIS and south american applications, or Argentinian ones. Don't really know what to think. Thanks for the good vibes.

Hope for the best! I don’t know why is so different for everybody. I’m having my biometrics appointment on Monday. Hopefully not a long wait after that!

I don’t think so because my wife is from Ecuador. Everything has been smooth so far. What I can tell you is that it depends on who's case worker you case ends up and that can be a determining factor with time and scrutiny. I work for the federal government and I can talk about this😂  everything will be fine.
