Can someone please give me advise on obtaining a drivers licence or state ID in Massachusetts? Can’t find anything online. I sent my packet last week got delivered on Thursday so haven’t heard anything yet.

I’m not from there, but when I was getting real ID in California I just followed the list from dmv California website. So I’d suggest you to do the same and check what documents you need https://www.mass.gov/guides/massachusetts-identification-id-requirements

Alright I just got back home and we just open our letter for the bio-appointment but they are sending us to Jacksonville FL. Does this mean that everything will be process there? I have to change my timeline to Jacksonville? Or this just a one thing only. By the way the drive is 3hrs from where we live. Atlanta was more closer just with a difference of 30 min from Jacksonville.

Any thoughts?

Your best bet here is to contact your local DMV and they will tell you what to do,

Im in West Virginia and its a nightmare to try get a DL, when i asked, they stated they dont recognize my UK DL at all, she said if it was a French one or a South Korean one it would be fine ( like WTAF ) so i asked ok what do i need to do, they said they could use my K1 Visa to issue one, but it would run out on the date the visa expired and then i would have to wait until i got a visa with a new date ( AKA work permit, or green card etc ) totally bloody backwards.

my aos package has been returned due to incorrect fees.my medical envelope was sent back open.they said to send everything back with correct fees does anybody know should i send medical envelope opened just the way they returned it

If they opened it, i would send it back the way you received it, just with the updated payment, you could always add that to your cover letter explaining you are returning the packet the way you got it back from USCIS only you have added the proper payment.

I think at the moment they are sending people to the nearest one that has available places, you could try contact them to change it to closer but it may delay it, i cant remember if there was a contact number on there to phone them to arrange a different location,

I remember reading in other topics on VJ that people where being sent to locations within 4 hours of them.

I also have the incorrect fee. If they didn't mention anything about you to send anything else like the medical info, it'll mention it on the paper.

Otherwise, leave all else alone as they set it up in their content and just add the missing stuff to the top of the package with a letter saying you are submitting the correct fee (that's what I did).

Note: I didn't send in the medical envelope, I just sent the copy of the DS-3025 page front and back. They didn't tell me that is missing.

@Mousey and @GeeRaf,

Looks like we are the only ones having the problem so far, and our mail delivered about the same time to lockbox support center. I wonder if in between the lockbox and USCIS someone ###### up and lost our packages (excuse my language as I am beyond furious with calling USCIS every single day without a response). I am literally thinking about sending another packet again on Monday and see if it will be processed. Let's keep in touch

GeeRaf, sorry about your husband's DL thingy. I went to DMV 3 times and waited 15 days to finally get my DL under K-1 because of some homeland security validation bullshit. Totally feel your pain. Hang in there and good luck to you! Like my husband said, you only have to go thru this once.

My AOS (K1) was delivered to USCIS Chicago Lockbox via FedEx on July 8th. At 4am August 5th, 28 days since it arrived, I saw the $1,225 fee deducted from my bank account. I am expecting a text notification and NOA1 in the next few days. Hang in there. I guess Chicago lockbox is experiencing a delay but it seems AOS will get processed. Hopefully under 30 days.

Quick question - since I'm mailing back the AOS packet and gonna get the notification and such in August, am I an August filer? Even though the rejection notice says I can resend the file, and I notice they have some kind of coded lines at the bottom and such before it got sent to me.

Nice!. It seems that is pretty random the speed at which they begin the process or maybe depends on the agent or something. Mine got delivered 2 days before yours did and I still haven't heard anything. Hopefully by Wednesday we do.

I just sent the copy of the DS-3025 page front and back.

What was on the back of the DS-3025?  Mine is one page with nothing on the back.  It says page "1 of 2" but there is still only just the one page that I received from my physician.  I looked it up online and it looks like page 2 doesn't have information that would be pertinent to my case, but now I'm concerned.  Does everyone except me have both pages?
