I did not get any notification and the status never changed from "We received you biometrics fee" before I got the appointment letter. I don't think there is a notification before the biometrics letter...

Gotcha! Our current status as of this morning is "Fingerprint Fee was Received" (same since the 23rd). So if nothing changes on the site... then there's nothing to do other than wait for the letter :goofy:

I believe you just wait for the letter, although I'm assuming (based on what I've seen) it is sent when status is at "Fingerprint fee is received".

My head is about to explode. I've talked to a regular agent and Tier 2 agent, neither were helpful. The only info they gave is to email the lockbox. Why didn't they say this long ago? Has anyone emailed the lockbox with success. If anyone needs the email address it's lockboxsupport@dhs.gov.

Wow and the agent told me 48 hours. I don't believe anything they say and they're so rude. I'm over it and feel so defeated.

I sent in my hubby’s AOS package the other day but didn’t put my ( USC) passport or naturalization copy with it. I didn’t see that listed anywhere including VJ documents either. It’s my mistake that I didn’t triple check but can I sent it in now or just wait for an RFE

Hi there!! If that's all your package is missing, then I'd relax and wait until notice. You can get a RFE or maybe not. It all depends on who opens your file. Either way, it should be a quick fix. If you receive a RFE, make sure you have birth certificate/naturalization/passport ready so you send it out quickly. 😊

@Tara & Rohit I got the mail today to go for biometric with date, time and location. At it was dated that they sent it July 26th and my status on USCIS is still just showing "Fingerprint fee is received" so I don't think the status will change until after biometric

You need to send proof of your US citizenship; copy of your passport bio page or your birth certificate works for that.
