Came to give you all an update on my case. I received the notification online last Thursday (8/20) that our interview was scheduled. We received our official NOA today. The date was for September 9th which is super inconvenient for our current personal situation. We are not in town and were not expecting it to be that soon. We noticed that on the NOA it states that you must not have travelled within the past two weeks due to COVID. We won’t be able to be back until this weekend which would put us within that two week window.

I am currently on hold with USCIS (the phone number on the NOA) to explain my situation and see what my reschedule possibilities are. It’s a weird thing to hope for - to delay the interview - but hopefully we can get something that works better. My wife’s EAD/AP expires in late November (we already applied for the extension) so we are hoping we can reschedule to a time that doesn’t disrupt that status.

Anyway, I’ll keep in touch. But be prepared for the interview date to be sooner than you think.

As of July 31, 2020, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time is currently not assigned for processing.

Great...

That is crazy! Did you find out or ask if they are assigning it into the process? It's a long time!

So, do we need another Medical examination, for the interview, because i had understood after 1 year The Medical Examination expires and you'll need to take a new one, right ?

or do you go to the interview and they'll tell you, you need new medicals, RFE go home and wait another 3 months,

My interview letter says "A completed medical examination (Form I-693) and vaccination supplement  in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted ) "

i already submitted my medical examination, for the K-1 Visa and gave my sealed envelope to the immigration officer at the airport when i arrived,

Thanks!!

I have same doubt, because I also thought an Affidavit was not necessary because says same thing on the notice add an Affidavit of support (unless already submitted).  I did the same as you with the medical exams, I only have the X-Ray.

Other members that already did the interview only mentioned to add an Affidavit of support. I was not going to go through medical examination again and my AOS case is active for a year and a month now...so, hope I don't need medical examinations

I called. They literally said the same thing as what it says when you check the case online.
