I just tried to submit a service request for outside processing time, like it was suggested.

 

It now says my receipt number is not being recognised, even though it's picking up it's "ready to be scheduled for interview" on both the USCIS websites.

We finally had our interview last July 29. IO told us that we were getting approved! 15 mins after, our case status updated to New Card is Being Produced. So happy to be done! All that's left to do now is wait for the GC to arrive in the mail.

 

Weirdly, both our field office and the NBC sent us interview notices. They arrived on the same day, each with a different interview date.

• Philly field office, dated 7/7/2020, said our interview would be on July 29.
• NBC, dated 7/8/2020, said our interview would be on August 13.

 

I talked to a Tier 2 officer, who then filed a service request with the Philly field office. They got back to me 2 days later and told me that the field office notice controls.

 

So now we're done!

 

Good luck to everyone else, and I hope people start hearing back about rescheduled interview dates!

I hope you hear something soon I checked our case online a few moments ago and apparently our case has been scheduled an interview dat as of Aug 4th so now waiting on the letter to see what the date is...I want it to be sooner than later i dont want the city to shut down again....We are in the red zone as far as numbers for the virus go.....

I am so EXCITED!!!!!! we finally got our interview has been scheduled notification....now we are just waiting on the hard copy to tell us the date.... I want our interview to be sooner than later before the city shuts down again... Our city is considered to be a hot spot as far as numbers go for the pandemic.....

we finally received the hard copy in the mail and our interview is Sept. 14th......So i get updated documents from my employer? im working from home so it may be a little difficult...I think most of our letters are dated March since that was our original interview month.....Also i dont need to carry an affidavit of support with us since we already submitted one with the original app... I feel like i need to gather things all over again

Does anyone fron NY or NYC got an interview date?? What do I need to do and have to speed up the processing time?

My interview was scheduled yesterday, I'm still waiting for the interview letter in the mail.

I'm adjusting status from K1 visa and have my AOS Interview next month. When I submitted my AOS application my wife (USC) was transitioning between jobs so we used her mom (my mother in law) as a joint sponsor. Now my wife and I both have a job and make enough above the level required. Can we not use my mother in law as a joint sponsor anymore? If yes, should I just take an updated i-864 with my wife's information or do I need to do anything else? Do I need to take any of my mother in laws documents if we're not using her as a joint sponsor?

Thanks, I have the same doubt, I also don't know if we have to update our sponsors affidavit, he is a friend of my husband's family.

I had a job but lost it due to covid19, the Bakery was not able to survive but I have paystubs, employer letter and searching for a job again. Hope that also helps and find another job right before the interview.
