You are not the only one, we are waiting here too.

I was about to contact the congressman but I checked the USCIS office processing time and set up a note to remind me on March 6th and make sure it say the date that it is due by. If no changes since that, then it's time to contact for the inquiry. Then wait to hear back from the inquiry... I'll decide what does the reply say.

I got the update that the card was being produced on February 10th. I read it takes between 5-10 bussiness days. I’ll let you know when I get mine

Finally done with the interview and was recommended for approval by the person who interviewed us. When I checked 2 hours later, my status was updated to "New card is being produced".

 

So, you first go through security where they ask for your appointment letter and ID, then they let you through to get to the scanner where you're asked to take your shoes off and belt similar to how they do it at the airport. You then go to the third floor to check-in where they take your photo and fingerprints, and then to the fourth floor for another check-in(?) before you finally go to the lobby to wait for your name to be called. Baby strollers, bags, and phones were allowed at the San Diego USCIS, just need to go through security. There must have been 3 couples with babies at the waiting room with us. The dress code wasn't as strict, outfits ranged from leggings to suits. I personally wore blue jeans and sneakers. I didn't see anyone wearing shorts though.

 

The interview lasted for like 15-20 minutes, waiting at the lobby to be called was actually longer since we got there 30 minutes before the scheduled time. During the interview, we were asked a bunch of questions, including how many bedrooms we have. My partner and I were interviewed together though so it wasn't too bad.

 

On a somewhat related note, there's paid parking in front of the USCIS building, which was $15 for 2 hours, cheaper than the other rates in the area considering the first one we almost tried was going for $25/hr. You could try to look for free parking, but at the time we went, there wasn't any so we went with paid parking instead. We're so relieved to have the whole AOS process over with and we celebrated at an In n Out as soon as we got out. 😁

Received tracking info for the EAD Card today. Says it'll be here on Saturday! Good way to close out the week since first notif on Monday!

we finally heard something after 4 months and 10 days... I hope you hear something soon I just randomly checked the website at midnight the other night and couldnt believe that we finally had the ready to schedule the interview blah blah blah

right I know that I guess I am asking about the message that it has actually been picked up and u were issued a tracking number... I have never seen anyone post that msg.....
