We brought our apartment lease, car title, medical insurance, car insurance, 401k (I added her as my beneficiary showing 100% of what corresponds to her)and our joint bank account paperwork. He also asked us if we could give him our photos and of course we said yes.

He gave me the impression that the bonafide documentation wasn't essential because we had been approved already. But I don't know know about your situation or what evidence you have already provided so taking any kind of evidence will help.

Hope that helps! And good luck with your interview.

Sounds like you guys were kind of pre-approved. That's really nice! Do you mind me asking where your interview was?

We have beneficiary documentation so we'll add that to the list. We have our own medical insurance through our jobs and our own car insurance for our own cars. I think we'll be okay - I'm just overthinking and a little nervous! But better overprepared than under right? And thank you!

Yep you never know what an official may ask for evidence material, it's always good to gather more evidence to these interviews just in case. Also if you have your wedding photo album take it with you, our officer really liked our photos from the album and I'm sure it made the whole situation more relaxed as well.

Our interview was in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The office there is pretty friendly in general. I had been there a for my Green Card interview a while back and my naturalization as well and never had a bad experience. So I was going in positive already hehe.

Good to know about the wedding album! We debated to bring or not (our album is heavy and kinda clunky) but based on your experience, we will. We'll bring the album and some individual photos so the officer can keep the photos.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Appreciate it!

No problem! One thing I did forget to mention was that the officer had to ask for a copy of our Marriage Certificate. Looks like whatever package they sent him did not have our certificate. So be sure to take everything that the NOA lists, even if you guys have already submitted those documents. Always bring extra copies just in case.

Dear all July 2019 AOS applicants,

Thanks for your great sharing and support.

We had our interview at the Santa Clara office yesterday on 11 Feb and we got approved right away yeahhh.
Surprisingly not at San Francisco. (Since we had our finger print at San Fran.)

The interviewer/officer is a nice officer.

First, she asked us to present our legal ID, our marriage certificate, our apartment that we live together's rental agreement.

She asked us to raise our right hands and swear all the things we said are true.

Then, she started to ask questions such as...
She asked us to present new photos that we gather after we got married.
She asked about my birth date, my maiden name, and my married name.

Do I have any other birth date?

Do we have any children on earth before and now?

Have we got married before?

When was my last time to come to America?
Do I have a job now?

What is our new address?
She also asked some of the questions at the end of I-485. (basically all the information about whether you committed any illegal things or not).
She asked us about how did we meet? Describe in detail.
Then we got approved on the spot :)

We had our appointment at 8 am on 11 Feb.
We arrived around 7:20 am and still can go inside first.
There were already so many people seating inside the lobby.
We probably had our interview around 8:15 am? We don't really check since we were both waiting excitedly :D
In general, we didn't wait too long before the interview started.
In a side note, from applying I-485 till having the interview and passed, it is around 7 months.

Highly recommended to arrive earlier, so both of you can relax and prepare for the mood for the interview.

Also, we basically brought everything that we had since K1. We've saw people brought huge and bulky files and even file boxes and luggages.

I might be mistaking but K-1 is good for one year. You need a USCIS physician that can transcribe your existing record onto I-693.  Unfortunately, most practices will fool us by saying results are only good for 6 months or since it was not done at their clinic you will have to redo your exam and vaccines. If you search this forum you may find a reliable physician in your area.

We are waiting as well.

Luckily we received approval for the green card at the end of January 2020. We never had to redo the medical. I guess the Charlotte office found her documents, and printed the green card. Anyway, it's great to be done with this part of the process! Basically we are free to live our lives together, yay!

That is great to hear. Unfortunately, our medical document was lost even after we transcribed  pending vaccines they came back to request only report which is strange because original medical exam had all of that information. Nevertheless, we have the GC on hand. Approved.

Good luck to those who are waiting and be patient.

We were approved today. Green card should be arriving in the next 4 weeks according to the officer. He was really nice with us, said our case looked like a good couple and that's why he brought both of us in. He made it sound like with suspicious couples he would interview each separately. He asked for photos, and to tell our story. Asked my wife the yes/no questions. And finally any kind of bonafide documentation.

Glad this process is finally over and now we will see you guys back in about two years or less for the I751 haha. One thing the officer also menyioned is that the removal of condition form may not require an interview if the relationship looks legit to them.

Thanks visa for all the help throughout this journey 😁

Pls do you submitted Copy of your birth certificate as USC along with your Wife own?
