Had our interview yesterday on the 24th and was approved. Today for ceac it says issued.

It finally showed in transit after a few hour, so it might do the same for you ? When did they assign your case number at NVC?

exciting news! My fiance was emailed and we have a case number from the NVC! 😁

 

they mention several times to follow the instructions carefully and correctly but it's a bit confusing. May I ask for your help again?

 

The letter said:

Go to our website http://nvc.state.gov/k1 to learn how to apply for a K visa and prepare for the visa
interview.

so I went to the link and I see this:

from my understanding I fall under the second tab/category and this is where it just goes round and round for me.

the info on the link above says :

the NVC will send you, the beneficiary, a letter or email (I'm guessing this is the email containing my NVC case number, but the only instruction there is to go to the link above) directing you to begin visa pre-processing with the NVC. (This is what I thought I would learn about from the link, alas) NVC will begin pre-processing your case by asking you to first choose an agent (an agent? O_O what does this mean?) and then submit the appropriate fees. After the appropriate fees are paid, the NVC will request that you submit the necessary immigrant visa documents, including the Affidavit of Support (AOS), application forms, civil documents, and more.  (where do I find this? will they email/tell me a specific list or do I google it?)

 

If visas are not available for your visa category, the NVC will notify you that the NVC received your petition and will hold it until a visa becomes available.

 

 

I understand that in the link, there are other categories/tabs that mentions the payments and AOS but there's just too many missing links/steps in between that makes it confusing and I don't miss any steps and make the process longer.

 

Please help. really appreciate all of you for being so patient.

I got an mail from NVC today, send from Swiss. not sure if i should open it

consulted with my lawyer and she doesnt know what that is either. 

Anyone else also got one? ( passport/visa/parcel for immigration officer upon entry the US was picked up at the same time)

Still says, AT NVC.    My Case was assigned a number on Wednesday, Sept. 25

Thanks.  Just sucks since i had my case number for a week now.  Oct 15th it is.

i do have one question, the prompt says

I believe that’s for people who are going for spouse visas but I’m not sure so don’t quote me on that
