Do I have to wait for  actual NOA2 in the mail or can i already update the NVC. and second question How do you find the shipping dates? Thank you.

No you don't have to wait for the hard copy NOA2, only that your petition has been approved. The shipment dates are every other Tuesday with the next and last date in July being July 23rd, then starting in August, August 6th and 20th. It's not written anywhere that you can look at it's just been that way for several years!

Well your case is moving along and thanks for the update.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

I’ve traveled to the states weekly since we’ve started the process with zero issues. I believe once you have the visa in hand it will be at the discretion of the officer you get. I’m sure travel to other countries is totally fine.

You can travel anywhere you want but the soil that step on that belongs to the US your K1 is "used". You cannot leave the US until you receive your AD and then their are warnings.

Due to recent changes to U.S. immigration law, travel outside of the United States may have severe consequences for aliens who are in the process of adjusting their status or applying for an immigrant visa (refugees and asylees). Upon return, these aliens may be found inadmissible, their applications may be denied, or both. It is important that the alien obtain the proper documentation before leaving the United States.

"I’ve traveled to the states weekly since we’ve started the process with zero issues."

So I ask what visa did you use to travel back and forth?

Your reply maybe confusing as others may not avail themselves to the same visa you are using for your back and forth travel. JMHO

Really?! I had no idea. I’m in Canada, I assume that I will be one of the countries that DOES get a packet. Anxiously waiting. No fun being separated.
