We received our case number last Wednesday the 111th which is the last day to make today's shipment but status still shows at NVC.  Maybe it was too close and we'll have to wait until October 1.

our case is “In Transit” as well.

Have you been able to schedule an interview yet? There’s only a few  available dates in mid November. So go grab a spot. 😊 also congrats!!!

I was told after I was assigned a case number that it was going through AP. Then it was shipped to the embassy. I'm not sure if it's a bad thing or not at the NVC stage.  My email when I updated my email address was we don't have your case yet so I say call and see if you have a case number. They seem to be giving out case numbers pretty quickly.  Just my advice. Good Luck!

We called and they actually assigned a case number and it seems to have been a mistake too , thank you !

No, we haven’t yet. Since my fiancé has lived in other countries we are waiting to get the police reports first so that we don’t run the risk of not having it in time for the interview. I hope we’re able to snag a November date because our NOA1 expires in December. 

 

Has anyone had to request an extension for their NOA1 or 2? If so how easy/difficult was it?
