Hi my NOA2 was approved Aug 26th. I'm asking for help with I-134 sponsor form. My question is will I qualify to be the sponsor if my 2018 income is 34k but was reported as excludable income. I have no dependents to claim and adjusted gross income is $1,415.

I included tax return pictures to better explain my situation.

Question for those who just scheduled their interview.

We are about to schedule my fiance's interview, and we're creating an accout on ustraveldocs to get an interview appointment, there's this part thats asking for priority date and a case ID. The case id is the application id from ds160, right? Is the priority date the date that we want our interview to be scheduled or its something else?

I was told the priority date is your NOA1 date.  That's what my fiancee put in, and that seemed to work.

Thanks for responding appreciate it. We also read somewhere that it is the date you filed or the received date. My fiance put received date and it works too, I guess it could be any of the two.

You will not make the 17th shipment date. You would have had to get a case number assigned by today. Sorry but you should be  on the next one. Good Luck you are almost to the finish line of this part of the process.

Congrats

So, why did I need to have a case number assigned by yesterday? Does that really impact when it gets shipped out? There’s still quite a bit of time before the 17th.

Called today and learned our case number was assigned on Wednesday, 9/11.  I realize this is the cut-off date for 9/17 embassy shipments but not sure if it needs to be before Wednesday or on Wednesday...Hoping it means there is a chance it will get sent next week.

That is not the cut-off date.  Your case will make the 9/17 shipment easily.

Based on the pdf on the first page there is a cut off time for processing and that determines when you will be shipped out.  I believe the information given in the pdf is true because in my own experience I received my number the Thursday before shipment and did not make it and had to wait until the next shipment date.  Most of the time the information provided on the pdf's at the beginning of the forum is based on multiple people's experience and research about this process. If you read some of the post you will see that this has reign true for most on here.

Did you call back to see if you got a case number yet? I also got my number within 2 days of them receiving my case. (Mileage may vary. Every case is different)

I know you ready to move to the next step so you can be closer to being face to face with the one you love and you are almost there. Be patient ( I know its hard to) and prepare yourself for the next step by doing research. You soon will be together and don't forgot that you are moving a lot faster than some people have during this process.

Good Luck! October 1st  will be here before you know it.

Please explain how? The PDF clearly states that he will have to have a case number by the Wednesday before the shipment week.  He has not stated that he has a number ( the reason why I asked if he called to check and also told him about how long it took for me to get one).

If he has not been assigned a case number on yesterday then he will not make it. Also where are you getting your information from?  I think it's great to be supportive and uplifting for others because this process is very stressful but accurate information needs to be given out. If you go and read all of the PDF and the previous post you will see that I gave accurate information. Also I have experienced it myself not making the deadline in time.

The PDF is based on institutional knowledge, not insider information from USCIS or the State Department. Estimates of cut-off dates are estimates, and are not 100% accurate.

The every-other-Tuesday shipping schedule was inferred from reports; it's not an official policy (and at least some consulates/embassies are all-electronic and do not follow that schedule).

If you read the above statement I have put in bold that this based off experiences but it has been reigning true for most people on here.  I also stated in bold that mileage may vary because every case is different.

I do understand that all that you have said but also take into account that when I look back over people who have posted years back the information has remained steady. Just a few post back people had electronic files sent and they still fell into the same time frame.  So there might be some accuracy in the information given. I also take into account that everyone who post may not be receiving their information only from this platform.

But we will see what happens if the file is sent or not. Regardless I still wish OP the best of luck.
