I thought the shipments to embassy for September were 3 and 17?  I don't believe a NOA2 of August 28 is likely to make it to an embassy in a September shipment.

That’s I thought too... to my understanding our case first being shipped to NVC and then then NVC ship it to embassy.

I highly doubt it that our cases will get there so quick. I think our cases will be shipped to embassy on September 17th or October 1st.

My interview was ok. I got approved. I was the last person to get interview at the embassy.

After looking at my documents almost 1 an half hours,he ask me....

Where we met

How we met

Why I didn't get married here in Jamaica

How long we been together

What is our wedding plans

How long my fiance separate from his ex wife.

Okay didn’t seem like much.  That’s good you got approved. Congrats. Hopefully it goes good for my fiancé

I may of thought the approval meant they got their case number. I can't find the original post that i had replied to. This information was only meant for a case number assignment by Wednesday of the week before the shipment dates of 9/3 & 9/4.

It happens.  When you are processing millions of visas each year the odds are you will make a mistake. Its as easy as typing on your keyboard and you type something that you didn't want to use. Like you use a "z" in place of an "a" because your fingers are big and occasionally you miss. Oh and what about the human aspect. You do it I do it and others do it.

I understand where you coming from but mistakes should not be at the verge of giving heart attack to someone 🥺and honestly one should not go wrong in doing their assigned job. 😓😓

hello,

NVC received our case last 8/26 and got our case number 8/28.

Hoping that our case be included in the next shipment :)

This is good news since we are only about a week later.  Maybe there is hope we can make the 9/17 shipment.

We will make sept. 3 shipment. 😉

I think you may have been confusing shipment to NVC and shipment to embassy.  After your NOA2 approval, your case will first go the NVC, then the NVC will send to the embassy.

The September 3 and 17 dates being discussed are the shipment dates from the NVC to the embassies.  Hope this helps :)

My NOA2 arrived but with a 8/27 approval date instead of 8/28.  🙂

Same thing here! My NOA2 arrived today and paper says 8/27 instead of 8/28

The date does not affect anything except the timeline you created here in VJ.

I'm hoping we can make the 9/3 or 9/4 shipment 🙏  hehe

Your timeline says you received you case number on 8/28 and if that's true then you are on the cutoff date for shipments out of NVC to your embassy on 9/3 or 9/4. Remember they ship over two days not just one.
