Just want to be prepared.

Interview is when the son will exercise the visa case. Nothing needs to be given for the son. DS-160 is completed when he gets his interview.

yes I completed my ds160, I thought NVC send you the interview date I didtn't no I have to register somewhere else, what is the name of the web site

I don't understand the first part of this statement. He was not bringing his son with him.

You are in the wrong thread this is for K1 Visas,  you are already  married and your process is different than what K1 visas  call for.
