Hi everyone! Has anyone with NOA2 from 07/19 got their NVC case number yet?

Expand

I got an e-mail this morning from NVC saying they've received my case, but they are still processing it.  My NOA2 was 7/18.

Thanks for the update and confirms what I have been saying that your case files takes about 30 days to arrive at NVC and another 1 day to two weeks, sometimes more but it has a relatively short stay at NVC. You will be on the first shipment in Sept (3) to your embassy.

NVC emailed me that they received my case on 8/13. NOA2 was 7/17. 1-603-334-0700 this number was very busy and call got disconnected. called 603-334-0888 non-immigrant  line and waited approx 10 mins and was told no case number assigned yet. i called today in the morning.

Case assignment is normally running 2 weeks to 4 weeks according to the latest stats. So you are ahead of yourself.

Got our NOA2 today!!! NOA1-5/24/19, NOA2-8/14/19!

I'm so happy to be in this thread! Hopefully in 2-3 weeks we can get our case number from the NVC! 😁

30 days from NOA2 to NVC, 2-4 weeks before NVC assigns the number and then week to two weeks before it is sent to the embassy. More patience.

I learned the hard way so now I read every thread before I ask any questions.  I find that my question has been asked and answered multiple times.  I only can speak for me but I think the anxiety of this process makes you not think your questions are original and forget that this whole website is about people who have been, are going through and have just started this process.

Most times that comes really late they mail it your beneficary's address on file. If you have not got it I would not worry to much.

Yes and I have seen some people in this thread and other threads getting case numbers more than 6 weeks. So?? YW  Next day case numbers is rare and shouldn't be expected. We don't know if the record has been sitting at NVC and then on the day that someone calls is told "oh your record just arrived and case was assigned" response.

I will be hitting 4 weeks on this coming Monday. I was wondering if I will receive my case number via US mail or email? And will he receive something by mail and email too? Or just me as the petitioner.. I’m planning on giving them a call Monday too haven’t had the chance beforehand and decided to try and be patient anyway! But now we’re both slightly anxious lol

anyone got eligibility letter? specifically from Philippines?

Maybe if your question were to be posted in the sub-forum for the Philippines you would get a response more directed to your question. BTW, Hanks website explains how to get the eligibility letter. Have you tried that trick?

No one can predict when you will receive a notification. We can only opine with what we see in the past. Some will have you believe that it only takes one day and here you are on 4 weeks. I have seen 1 day to more than 6 weeks.

Calling is the best way to get the case number. You (petitioner) will get a snail mail with the case number about 2 weeks after assignment.
