If you go back a some pages you will see the Nigeria packet that he has provided previously. This way you don't have to wait and @Greenbaum wont have to resend it. Hope it helps.  FYI I was tagged in the post.

You got to like someone who doesn't read every entry in the thread, someone who is difficult,  and then rely's on others to bail them out.

Thanks TennilleO for helping.

NOA2 - 12th of July.

NVC case assigned - 7th of August.

7th of August was last week Wednesday, would i make shipment this coming Tuesday(14th of August) or next week (20th of August).

Thanks guys for all the help.

There is NO shipment on the 14th of August, the next and last shipment date in August is August 20th and yes you should make that date.

If you are still waiting for your Case Number typically we see an onslaught of approvals through out the today and Wednesday. If you are approved by Wednesday you typically will be on next weeks shipment.

Keep checking for your current status.

HI!!!! I'm so happy to finally be apart of this thread --->>> Progress!!!  I received a case update alert via the Visa Tracker app on 8/10 stating our petition was approved (Approved on 8/9).  Letter arrived in mail on 8/12.

I've emailed NVC to update our email addresses.  Our package should be on the 8/20 shipment to our embassy.

Question regarding the I-134: The I-134 instructions PDF state provide any supporting evidence that is applicable to you.  How does one know if you are to provide financial statements, if the income is well above the poverty guideline and no co-sponsor is needed?

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! Has anyone with NOA2 from 07/19 got their NVC case number yet?

I found this information in the PDF file on the first post of this thread. Since your NOA2 is for 7/19 your case will not arrive to NVC till approximately 8/19 and then another 5-10 business days from their before a case number is assigned. So in my opinion you are calling a little too soon for a case number to be assigned from 7/19. You should download the PDF and follow along. I found it to be very helpful in determining the progress of my case.

2. Checking on your embassy case number from NVC: It will take 30 days (some sooner)  for NVC to receive your file from USCIS after you receive the NOA2, then another 5 - 10 business days for NVC to get your file in their system and produce your case number. Call 9:00 am eastern time for shorter wait times. NVC hours have changed and are now 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

1-603-334-0700 or 603-334-0888. Operator assistance is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (Eastern Time) 1 for English, then 7 (or 5, but I would go 7 as they would tell you if you should call 5 instead after they receive your case.)

You don't say what the "case update" is referring to. I assume from your timeline you are referring to your NOA2. If that's the case you still need a case number assigned before anything is shipped to your embassy. So do you have a case number from NVC? Please refer to the post just above this one for details that I gave another member as I believe this will pertain to you also.

When completing the I-134 you include financial documents that attest to what you are claiming to be your earnings. You don't determine what is needed, the embassy sends out the requirements in the P3 letter. Here is what financials that most embassy's ask for. Having these documents and a completed I-134 prepared for the interview will give the CO the necessary information to determine if you meet THEIR guidelines.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT: You must submit any evidence which will show that you and members of your family who will accompany you are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. Visa petitioner (US Citizen) will have to complete form 1-134. If the petitioner does not qualify as a sponsor, a Joint-Sponsor should ALSO be presented (any US Citizen living in the US or Legal Permanent Resident), who will also have to complete form 1-134. Both, the Sponsor (Petitioner) as well as the Joint-Sponsor, will have to present last year's income tax return transcripts. W2 form and proof of current and sustainable income (e.g letter of employment on letterhead including salary and start date, most recent salary receipts, bank accounts, value of properties, etc.). You may download the 1-134 affidavit at: https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript Use this link to determine the income levels needed https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p.

Thanks for the information @Greenbaum.

Oh yes, you’re right, I skipped a step in my original note. I haven’t received my case number yet.  So my file won’t get shipped until sometime in September (fingers crossed). And let me clarify...the “letter” I was referring to was in fact the NOA2.

Thanks again.

Good day everyone!
