Got our case number from the NVC yesterday after waiting a whole hour and 5 minutes listening to that horrible music, but soooooo worth the wait!

Gathering from reading the past posts in the thread, the next ship date is the 20th?

Gathering from reading the past posts it's been recommended that I download the pdf file from the first post in this thread and I will find all kinds of things to do now that I have my case number and I will know what is happening next with my case. Sweeeet!

Hey everybody, I am a bit confused. My case number was created on July 31 which was the Wednesday before the latest shipment. CEAC says my case is ready, last update on 8/8. This is the day when the latest shipment arrived in Frankfurt according to DHL. Does that mean my case is in Frankfurt now or will we have to wait for the next shipment? Thanks in advance for clarification.

ROC Timeline:

2023-02-20: Mailed package to Phoenix Lockbox with UPS Ground

2023-02-27: Package was delivered

2023-03-02: Received text that case was received with SRC case #

2023-03-03: Money order was cashed

2023-03-09: Received 48 months extension letter in mail

2023-05-20: Greencard expired

2024-01-03: Still waiting for update on biometrics

Called and received our case number on August 8th!

Does this mean I will make the Aug 20th shipment? Is there anything I need to do in order to get it shipped from NVC to my embassy or will that happen automatically?

More than likely you will ship out on the 8/20 shipping date. As long as you have been assigned a case number by the Wednesday before the Tuesday shipping schedule you'll be on that shipment most likely. This is all outlined in the PDF on the first page of this thread.

There is nothing else you need to do. Everything thus far has been automatic and this will too.

These are questions that are answered in the PDF on the first page first post. Two factors to watch, did DHL take your file to Frankfurt? Yes according to you. Did CEAC change to 'ready'? Yes according to you. Then this is a easy deduction that your ready to interview and your wasting time trying to figure this out.

I stated in my "Buckle UP" post last week that I have most of the P3's for each country but very few asked. I don't recall if you did or didn't so I am going to post the instructions. Now is the time to leave this thread and move on over to the sub-forum for Germany. We can't do much more now as each embassy is different and each of come from a different country.

Information to prepare for the interview

Information from the embassy website

P3 letter

Sub-forum for your country

NOTE: The I-134 requires a "wet" signature. They will send you the P3 through the mail. There are some documents that need to be completed which you will return and then your interview is assigned.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community that comes behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

Hey guys my noa 2 was july 22. When should i call nvc for case number ? Did i make the last shipment?

I guess you missed the two references/post to the others above that I just replied to that all the instructions and answers to your questions is contained in the PDF on the first page, the first post.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks
