hello... im very confused with what is happening with my case. I got my NOA1 on August 19, 2019 and on November 5, 2019 we received a mail saying our case has been transferred to the NBC and now the website has been updated again that our case has been transferred to another USCIS office. What does this mean?

I think you meant to say transferred to NVC and not NBC. Your file goes through USCIS for approval. Once approved then it is sent on to NVC who is the clearing house to the number of immigrants that can be allowed into the US. Once verified they assign you a case number. Once it's assigned it will be sent to your embassy for preparations to interview. Once it's sent to the embassy the embassy contacts you via an email that has the instructions on which documents you will need to bring to the interview plus other information that is important to the processing of the visa.

Everyone goes through these stages. To more closely monitor your case you should download the latest copy of the PDF on the first page from this thread

this will have everything you will need. Also, join this group with any questions. Good luck.

You don't have a complete timeline so I don't know where you are in the process. Have you submitted an I-485.?

im sorry im feeling quite lost here and confused as well... i got the NOA for i130 on August 5, 2019 and then submitted the i129F and got the NOA1 for that on August 19, 2019... No news regarding anything until November 5, 2019... that is when we received the mail that our case is being transferred to National Benefits Center. After that on November 22, 2019 the case status was updated on the 'case status online' website that our case has been transferred to another USCIS office.

This is somewhat confusing. Why did you file a I-130 then went on to file a I-129f? Did you inform USCIS that you didn't want to file the I-130 and now want to "kill" it?

In the end you will have to wait for another letter informing you to what USCIS office it was now sent to.

I assume they are married and the filed the I-130. The instructions say once you receive an NO1 from the I-130 file for a K3 using the I-129f at no additional charge. Whichever processes first is the one they will issue.

Thank you for your reply. This seems to be a K-3 then that they are applying for. Which is more or less a dead process and rarely used. A K-3 I am not that well up on and hence the reason for my confusion.

I have found this link for @Shaleena Cole to review and to post any questions. Thanks Commish for your reply.
