The RFE came in the post yesterday!! 🎉🎉 It was for two year meeting requirement. 🙄

when we filled in the i-129f we sent tons of photos, ALL our travel itineraries (maybe 15 or so different travel schedules) flight documents hotel stays email correspondence etc. to our lawyer, so we are guessing that they didn’t send in the full packet we sent them! 🤬🤬🤬 on the RFE it stated that they got pictures but these aren’t sufficient as they are not time stamped and asked for travel documents/passport stamps emails etc... so come Monday we will call the lawyers office and give them a bollocking to find out why nothing else was sent!
Guess we just have to focus on the positive and start sorting it out ourselves and the RFE is quite simple.

The best way to answer that RFE is to produce documents that can't be forged. So a boarding pass can be forged but a passport stamp can't. Pictures together especially ones that are in front of "national monuments" or plaques that show where you are. Hotel, restaurant and charge card receipts are another means to prove you were in country and met. Don't send a "boat" load of evidence that does not "prove" you were there. They don't need much to understand that you were together. Skip the lawyer. Do this one yourself.

whats the best way to return the RFE? Regular USPost? Or can we post it by UPS/FEDEX next day delivery? The return address isThe  USCIS California service centre POBOX address...

Send the RFE back to address that is contained in the letter. Follow the return direction explicitly. Use a carrier that you can trace your RFE in the event you need to.

I sent ours back overnight USPS and it was received the next day and the day after that we got our reply response from USCIS that they are back to processing our case.  Since it's a PO Box sending by USPS is probably best.

Hoping we will both get approved before the end of this month!

I wouldn't trust USPS with my important documents if possible. I used USPS when I sent my petition originally and USPS lost my package. If I hadn't called and enquired multiple times who know how long it would have taken. The reviews on the post offices are awful. It's unfortunate because I'd love to trust the post office because had used them many times in the past for my parcel deliveries.

I'm glad it worked out for you guys though, I'm excited to see the rest of your k1 journey. Hopefully you'll receive good news soon! ❤️❤️
