Pls can anyone help with the exact number to call so we can get to speak to a tier 2 officer

Calling USCIS: You'll need your receipt number, DOB for both of you and full names. Beneficiary or the petitioner can call.

1 (800) 375-5283 8:00 am

Option 1:

Call USCIS. Do not press anything. Do not choose a language. If someone who picked up the phone cannot answer your question, ask them to transfer you to TIER 2.

Option 2:

Dial 1-866-953-7684

Option 3:

Call 1-800-375-5283

Press 1 to continue to English

Press 2 for case status

Press 1 if you know your receipt number

Press your receipt number 922(followed by your WAC#).

They will tell you to visit the website for the answer but press 3 or wait and you will be connected to a live agent.

Option 4:

Dial 1-800-375-5283 then press 1,2,2,4,2,1 then enter receipt number then press 1.

BTW this is information from the PDF on the first page of this thread.

It's day 126 and we are still waiting💔

A little housekeeping if you will:

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Just a quick update,

got back from my trip, was hoping for the RFE letter but nothing 😭 really do hope it hasn’t been sent to stupid lawyers rather than to us. Is it normally sent to the beneficiary or the petitioner? It’s been a week. So guess Monday now? Or perhaps Saturday post? 🤷🏿‍♂️

If you designated your lawyer to receive correspondence the the RFE is a correspondence and it would go to the lawyer. Check with your lawyer.

Guess we will have to wait for the stupid lawyers to get in touch then... any ideas if it will impact our case if we fire our useless lawyer?

USCIS, NVC or your embassy could care less if you have a lawyer or not. Your move!

We got our RFE in the mail today- as I suspected they are requesting more documentation on Intent to Marry. We provided a picture of the engagement ring on my hand, us together after being engaged, a statement signed by me.

What else should we provide besides a statement signed by him, the beneficiary, about our intent to marry? We can't plant a wedding without knowing the date, so it's goofy to me that USCIS suggests providing evidence of wedding preparations.

Did you send 2 letters of intent to marry the first time (1 from petitioner, 1 from beneficiary)?

No, just the one letter signed by me.

That may have been part of the problem. It's supposed to be 2 letters, one from each. Most are fine with just that, I'm one of those.

But recently there was someone who got an rfe even after sending 2 letters. They send 2 letters again, with explaining how they really want to get married (not just the generic template) and engagement ring receipt. They received their noa2 shortly after.

Does it make a difference if the letter contains an original signature or is an emailed, scanned copy?
