I'm pretty sure/hoping it's a missed checkbox. I had a feeling I missed one after I sent it in after seeing posts about that one tricky one 😕

I know its hard to speculate. Do u have a copy of the application you files to check through?

I remember catching a missed box on my review before sending it and fixing it with pen so my backup copy isn’t completely accurate but it’s possible I missed another. I just want to know what it is and resolve it and overnight it back to get this fixed. The anxiety of not knowing is brutal. Still nothing as of today’s mail either.

You get your mail early, I usually don't get till 4 or 5pm

Yes it comes around 10-11AM and Informed Delivery updates around 8:30-9

So went home to eat lunch and was surprised to see a bunch of letters in the mailbox although Informed Delivery said there was nothing today and the RFE letter came. The notorious 4a box it was. At least we have some relief that it wasn’t anything complex or more serious. Checked the box and signed it and overnighted back. Fingers crossed for a fast process.

So easy. I hope not too much delay. I checked our application. I did check it.

There should be a big sticky notice on every page of this site informing of the sneaky 4a box. It seems to be the major culprit for most RFEs haha 

 

makes you really wonder why there isn’t an online application vs paper. It would definitely cut down on a lot of missed boxes

That's great news! You'll have your NOA2 in hand soon after that quick fix.

happy it was an easy fix for u :) question was it the 4a. criminal record part?
