I just checked the USCIS website on the off chance for the third time today (because I’ve seen lots of people receive notifications on a friday) and we have been approved!
No letter yet as it is being sent to the UK.

NOA1 - 6 August

NOA2 - 6 November

Ahead of my VJ timeline! I’m in shock after checking the USCIS website for days and weeks and seeing the same ‘case received’ text!

My fingers are crossed for all of you still waiting to hear.

Wow congrats!!! We have very similar timelines so hopefully this means I'll hear something soon too!

I think you are close. Here's hoping you hear something this week.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

An observation.  When I looked today, most of the most recent, fastest, approvals were for citizens of the UK.  Maybe if you are from a Visa Waiver country they grant Fiancé Visas more quickly. (?)

The processing pace is dependent on the background checks. Yes, VW country's would be considered more apt to have an easier time but the initial background checks may have a tendency to process quicker as the systems maybe more compatible, or they are easier to execute then say a "third" world country.

I’m hoping it’s something easy too, and the lawyer we used is going to get some VERY horrible emails and in person complaints!!  It’s not a great start to my birthday holiday as we won’t be able to action anything straight away till we get back in 10 days time 😭😭

Just checked the eGov website and we will be receiving an RFE as of November 8th... Anyone receive one recently? I'm thinking it's likely for more proof to show we intend to get married, in which case - what should we send?  We are going to have a courthouse marriage as soon as feasible and a symbolic ceremony in 2021.

Thoughts?

What did you send the first time? Just a letter? Did you include engagement ring receipt?

We only did a letter but we didn't get any rfes

Yeah, I just sent a letter signed by me, the sponsor, summarizing our relationship and our plans to get married in a courthouse as soon as possible once approved and out intentions to have a symbolic ceremony in 2021 on a cruise. I also sent a picture of the engagement ring on my hand.

Again, I don't have the actual letter or any other indication of what they want in the RFE, just looking to see what other people have received RFEs for in recent history.  We are kinda bummed that we weren't immediately approved but I suppose any action on our petition is better than none...

Are you the beneficiary or the sponsor? Did you both have a letter each?

I hope it's an easy RFE! Maybe a box that wasn't checked? I think there's a notorious box 4a that tripped people up
