I called the USCIS and apparently we got approved yesterday (5th) ! 💜💜

O_O

No updates to either site. :(

Noa1: 08/02

Noa2: 11/05

I'm totally shocked I really thought we were going to have to wait 130 days or something.

I wonder if the way you compile and organise the application affects the approval time?

I two hole punched, front loaded, two hole clipped, binder clipped and then labeled each section on the bottom.

Congrats!

Congrats! I wish I had organised mine so beautifully! I managed individual clips per piece of evidence all together with a large bulldog clip and all ordered as per my covering contents letter- I for sure should have labelled! 😆

Congratulations, I called with a glimmer of hope, but got the standard response.

interesting that most have been notified by calls or mail. The apps don’t seem too accurate recently.

Are we suprised? America doesn’t even really use chip & pin or contactless yet. Let alone Apple Pay! 🤣🤣

The apps are from third parties and are not endorsed by the US Government. They use an algorithm whereby they go and extrapolate the information from the same website you do. If USCIS changes the format or how they display the information the app has to be rewritten.

I can walk in and make a purchase at most stores and I'm presented with many ways to pay for my goods. I can use a charge card that has a chip, debit card with a chip, pay pal, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, cash, personal check.

So what am I missing here from your statement? Oh "contactless yet" whatever that is.

Sorry I just don't get your point. Please educate me.

I have to agree with @brainless69 we are both in England and when I go to America I’m always very surprised how backwards some states are. I guess where you live is a little more tech savvy. But when I go to the Cheesecake Factory and ask to pay by card they have to manually type my card details!!

I was genuinely shocked, here in England no matter where I go I look into my phone screen tap it on the machine and out I stroll. Literally anywhere and any price!

I second (third) this. When it comes to some things, like paying, Europe is way ahead of the United States. I can add that the "contactless” thing is implemented in most stores. You just "beep" your card againt the machine instead of sliding it in. Very convenient.
