When was your NOA1?

There is a quicker way to ascertain someone's NOA1 date without having to post a inquiry. Just find the word "timeline" at the bottom of their profile from the left column and their timeline will open up where you can see each date for each process that they have completed. Cool - Right?

the website from visa journey, but i know its an estimate, but i need something to go off! no, that has always said we received it/noa1 but nothing else. so frustrating...i wish i could know what state/hands its in at least!

Keep in mind that USCIS, NVC or your Embassy never promised that they would give you a solid adjudication date or keep you informed, other then their websites. This process has been their staple for many, many years and I doubt you'll see it change anytime soon. The best way to get through this is lower your expectations and your disappointment would not have far to fall if you do hear something but it won't be when YOU want to hear it. Just saying.

Right, but the websites don't even have information on your timeline other than the main one that says the date they received your application. it would be just nice to know where the hell our application is, what state, in what hands, because some random is looking at my personal relationship and judging it and it would be nice to know where it is, thats all.

It's a government run office, no way it would be efficient 😂. Let's be honest the applications are probably just tossed in a stack, electronically or paper that's probably thousands long. It would be great to have transparency, but even as early in this process as I am I've learned one simple thing. Lower any and all expectations to zero.
