This may be a random coincidence but I’ve noticed that if you get an RFE it seems to come sooner than the average NOA2. So I guess that’s one possible positive of waiting longer??? I may be totally wrong

Yeah I think just a coincidence. Times this year in general are way shorter than last years times.

Waiting patiently for news on our NOA2 still. We filed late in July. It's been great seeing people in early July get theirs! Really hoping it's our turn soon :)

Hi sarge thanks for asking ! Day 115 here. We are trying to decide if we want to book a flight to see each other over Xmas or just suck it up and save the money as we will be with each other forever soon. I’ve actually been doing very good with this whole process- trying not to “obsess” over it.

I was faced with that same dilemma , we decided to suck it up and wait. I'm glad I did looking back now, as I had to drop a great deal more money later than what I had planned. I knew about the AOS fee of 1225.00, but there were other incidentals I had to fork over for.

May not work for you but sucking it up is hard to do, but saving your money especially when you are on a budget is better.

If you're beneficiary is in nursing it's advisable that she/he bring what every papers from schools, license's and what not that will be used to qualify to work in the medical field here in the US.

Transcripts from any schools are also advisable for all others. It's probably easier to get them now then to try later from your home here in the US.

Exactly thus our advise get your papers  etc together while you are in your countries. Very difficult and often costly to do from the U.S.
