Thank you! I'm hoping to receive the letter by Monday. I'm visiting my Fiance in 2 weeks so it will be a nice celebration.

I said, "I just wanted some kind of update or information on my petition."

She said, "what was the last communication you heard?" I said, " I only received my notice from July 15th but haven't heard anything." She said, "I'm going to place you on hold for one minute" which I did find odd because I was never placed on hold when I've called. She then returns and says, "your case was approved on October 22nd by the officer." I made her repeat it because I wasn't sure if I heard correctly. She said, "have you checked the site?" I said yes but no updates show. She then said that it should update but I should receive my letter next week. I made her repeat the date again lol because I was in denial.

800-375-5283.. but  I selected where I didn't have my receipt number in order to get a hold of a live person and that's when I spoke to the lady. I'm not sure if that's the way to do it?

Yeah you call that number and Alcest you don’t have a receipt then it asks for your receipt and you type it in and then it connects you to someone.

I just called as well, but she just gave me the generic response that it was still being processed and in normal processing times.

 

Ahh well All i can do is try to be patient XD

I just called too n got the same. They said it was processing (that someone is actually looking at our case, and everything looks good, currently no RFE's). I hope we find out we're approved this week, cus I want him here for Christmas!
