Hi everyone! Been lurking for a couple of months but thought I should create an account.

 

Congratulations to everyone getting their NOA2s. We are late July filers (29th NOA) so it's exciting to see July progressing.

Thank you! We also made the same mistake on our I-129f in regards to the bio-metrics and realised after reading one of your past posts!

 

Fortunately, both of us are reasonably similar so just an eye color change and height change and no one will notice! 😅

So I just called and spoke to a customer rep and she said I was approved on 10/22. I was confused because I told her I spoke to someone on Wednesday (perhaps Tuesday), and I was told no status update yet. She said, "the officer approved it on 10/22 but sometimes it takes a bit to put it in the system but you're approved and you should receive your notice by next week."

 

I feel it won't be "true" until I physically receive that letter.

What did you say when you called? Every time I call they just give me the generic responses. Did you speak to a tier 2?

When I called the lady was kind of passive aggressive which threw me off. She said "you called earlier this week and asked for a Tier 2 officer. Why did you need to speak to a Tier 2?"

I said, "I just wanted some kind of update or information on my petition."

She said, "what was the last communication you heard?" I said, " I only received my notice from July 15th but haven't heard anything." She said, "I'm going to place you on hold for one minute" which I did find odd because I was never placed on hold when I've called. She then returns and says, "your case was approved on October 22nd by the officer." I made her repeat it because I wasn't sure if I heard correctly. She said, "have you checked the site?" I said yes but no updates show. She then said that it should update but I should receive my letter next week. I made her repeat the date again lol because I was in denial.
