So I just called USCIS to check our status, and she said it was processing, and that they're working on March 19 K-1 apps. She told me the next step is the biometrics appointment for me to get my fingerprints and pictures taken. I've not read this anywhere. Am I missing something?

That's odd? biometrics and fingerprints? I haven't read that either...

Hopefully  they will simply require you to provide additional information - not causing a noticeable delay- fingers crossed.

Your NOA1 is just a few days after mine. I'm hoping to receive my NOA2 by end of next week. (crossing fingers here).

I just called too and was shocked I had no waiting time. My call went straight through. She also told me they are working on March 2019 applications. It seemed to me like she was just reading answers from a computer screen and not authentically answering my questions. She didn’t really tell me anything I didn’t know. I asked her what the next step is or what I can do in the meantime and she didn’t mention a biometrics appt or anything. All she said was just to wait. Oh well, worth a shot

Yeah, I got through easy too. Shocker! Lol. When she told me that March was being processed I told her that I follow Visa Journey,  and there's July filers getting NOA2's. She told me my next step was my biometrics, case sent to NVC, then to consulate, then him come here and get married. Even in the K-1 process guide there isn't any mention of petitioner going for biometrics.

I thought she was confused honestly.

Now I’m curious if we’re missing something about biometrics or if it’s changed? I wish I saw your post before I called so I could have asked.

With all of the missing updates/letters, Im convinced USCIS is just trying to through many of us off the trail now 😂 just to see how bad we want it haha

Did they ask any other info to document? When I called a month or so ago to verify an address change they had my confirm my phone number address and beneficiary's address.

From what I understand, biometrics for K1 Visa is possible but need is determined by USCIS. I found it referenced in the 129-F application instructions...
