I’m only 12 days behind them. Same consulate and service center. I don’t know if that has anything to do with anything🤣  but here’s to hoping one of us is soon to be next !

Other than the status of waiting for my NOA2, is there a site to check what state it is in, whose hands are on it, etc?

Not that I'm aware of. California Service Center processes most cases. Your NOA1 paper tells the service center.  Maybe the veterans of this site know something.

Thanks, stinks we just have to wait here and literally have no idea where it is, whose hands it is. If anyone knows a site, let me know!

Ya it sucks! With the way things have been going the last few months, I feel like some of us July filers might be hearing something within the next few weeks.

So August fliers would get an NOA2 in October?

No that’s not what I’m saying. Nothing is ever set in stone with this whole process. I was basing my previous comment off of VJ trends and their timeline estimates (key word). My NOA1 is July 3 and VJ’s estimated adjudication for me is October 1-5

if you look at the monthly filers and approvals here:

https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=1&option=2&sortby=2 you will see that a lot of people without an RFE have recently been getting their NOA2 within more or less 3 months. This is a significantly less of a waiting period than previous years (people were waiting double or triple the time).

If you also look up other threads from the past of people asking how accurate VJ’s processing timeline estimates are, there’s a lot of confirmation of credible couples who went through the whole k1 process saying it is fairly accurate .

Uscis seems to be pretty on top of it lately, so hopefully they keep up with the good work. That’s why I’m saying there’s a good chance some of us July filers might be hearing something soon!

It seems on average the range that people are recently getting NOA2s are between 70 and 90 days. So theoretically an early August flier might get an NOA2 in October but nothing is set in stone at all.

No rfe at this point.  There is no standard wait time.  Some even in nz can come as fast as 94 days others 130 days or longer.
