It’s best not to worry about it. Its out of your hands so don’t drive yourself crazy. I think it’s important to remember everyone on this specific thread is literally, at the most (as of today), only 2 months into the whole waiting process. So just relax a bit. Get familiar with the different threads on VJ so you can learn as much as you can with this entire process. This will help better prepare yourself for the k1 visa as a whole.

Yes, thank you for your response! I agree, was having a moment yesterday, much better now!

Yes, we are on the same timeline! Thank you for your response, the information really puts things into perspective for me and I hope that the remaining time for us waiting moves along.

Wishing you both the best!

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Congrats! You might want to join the September I-129 f filers thread that @Greenbaum created since you will be getting your NOA 1 in September. You will be conversing with people closer to your timeline

Hi, As we wait for the NOA2, We were thinking of prepping docs we need to send for the Visa, but if for some reason we need to do supply more support denied, I kinda think it may be a waste of time. Anyone else prepping docs or just waiting until they hear something in 2-3 months? I wish we could get better information of where our application is actually at.

Information may change from now to the interview.  Forms could change. RFE can change things. Just a waste of time. Spend time collecting documents needed for the interview like divorce decree, marriage documents or Birth certificates. Local police reports. Foreign police reports. Visit your embassy and determine what is needed. Check all your documents for correct and complete information.

Fair. Fortunately we dont have any divorce or previous marriage information needed to share. Already have BC from when I submitted the petition. I will just wait. Even getting police reports too early could be a waste of time. Annoying to just wait when I feel like I could be prepping. Everything is online so my fiance going an hour to the embassy in London doesnt seem to make sense.

There are experts over in the sub-forum for your country located here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/  This is where others from your country who are processing or those who have completed their interview and they can guide you on their experience. A TON of information and help there.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community that comes behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

Hi Filers!

I can't tell you how comforting this site has been in filing. However.....we sent in our I-129F on August 4th and have not recived any notification of our case after five weeks. We have included a G-1145 form to get a text message or email for notification and have not recieved either. I have read here that this is not always reliable. I did find that our money order was cashed. Also we discovered that the beneficiary's passport expiration date was entered incorrectly. I am hoping that the form will be processed and we can fix this error at the embassy interview. Well...if any one has any suggestions, even if it is just to be patient, I would be grateful to hear them. Thank you all for posting on your journeys!
