Which one is the official NOA 1 date? When they text us, the day USCIS received the petition (when courier delivers it), or something else?

My official NOA1 date was the day I got my text, however, the paper copy could say different.

Hi, I got an estimated date of NOA2 notification being 11/11 email from VJ. Now I got an email saying 11/14. How accurate is this and shouldnt it be based off the person your beneficiary is coming from (which country), not a pool of data?

With the limited information one gets when something will happen it's hard to give you a hard number. So VJ, in their wonderful self, that thought they would at least try and give you their best guesstimation and that was what you got. It's only a guesstimation, much like you will get from anyone here. This is a process that is always in a flow and ebb condition. Meaning it changes all the time.

You make these kind of decisions everyday. You walk up to the grocery line and you look down the row to see how many are in line, how large their orders are, and how much confidence you find in the check out clerk's abilities. With that information in front of you, you make a decision which line you will go in. Since everyone is different you were not able to be the first one out of the line. The guy who came after you, went through the same mental gymnastics that you did and chose a faster lane now he is out of the checkout and on his way home while you are still there.

NOA1 just a year ago were waiting almost a year for their NOA2 and now you are getting yours in about 3 months. If you have a better way I am sure we are all ears.

I would turn off that type of notification in your settings, as it's changing almost daily. My timeline adjudication date changes constantly.

Hello all...The truck is in motion and we have received our NOA1, but I wanted to run something by you. I am Petitioner and my fiance and her toddler son and I have previously pursued the K-1. In 2018, we received notification that we were in process to NVC, when I was laid off. I was out of work for a significant time and we essentially abandoned the visa. Fast forward to now...I moved and actually making more money than the last job, so win win.

My question, does the 2018 submittal and subsequent non completion hinder our chances now? My fiancé and I have known each other for about 15 years and I provided photo evidence dating back 10 years.  Is there anything we should focus on in the event we do have more control of the situation (ie. we make it to the interview and we should focus the conversation along with our history). Any other insight you can provide, will be forever grateful. Thanks for any input you may can provide.

Addendum...I did explain in detail the circumstances of the layoff in my letter to explain our history.
