Long time lurker and finally a poster. Our lawyer filed on the 2nd august and NOA1 was received 5th august. Now the wait begins!

Having been a long time lurker i can highly recommend not using a lawyer as it just adds another step and from what we have learned its easier to just file yourself. There is a HUGE amount of very valueble information and knowledge here, so thank you everyone for posting their stories.

Does anyone know if having Global Entry speeds up the processes at all?

That's a difficult question to answer as its never been printed that it is one of their criteria that they use. In the first post I have written about what is checked. Give a read.

You are all saying 5 months...so that is from NOA2 to approving? Then you take another X amount of months to apply for the actual visa? Ours got delivered on Saturday 8/10 and now waiting for the NOA1.

You should be getting your NOA1 any time now, did you send in the form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance with your petition? If so you should be getting a email or text also!

No I am not saying that, if current trends hold and you are lucky you'll get your NOA2 in less than 5 months we are seeing on average 90 days. But don't take that to the bank as these are straight forward cases i.e., never married, no kids, no criminal cases and no RFEs. Each case is different and stands on it's own merits. But yes less than 5 months. Your mileage may vary!!!!!!

Then from NOA Approval to my fiance getting here (The K-1 visa) how long are we seeing for that?

There is no way that anyone can predict that as there are many variables, I would recommend you go to the UK portal  and ask that question there at least you'll be able to get an idea since you are petitioning from the UK:

Yeah I sent my USPS on Tuesday, 8/6, USPS said it was delivered sat, 8/10. Now waiting NOA1. I def had a stress cry after sending it in!!! I am afraid through I didn't do enough proof of relationship. It ended up being around 17 pages of pictures, one boarding pass, ticket stubs, engagement photos and receipts, passport stamps, pictures of all our cards for  3 years, all our engagement cards. pictures from 2016-present. im just so nervous.

i am petitioning from the US, but my beneficiary is from the UK. is that what you mean?

Sometimes its not the quantity its the quality of the relationship proof you send in and if it gives the adjudicator a complete picture of your relationship. Was it just an over site that you did not mention  letters of intent to marry?

Just try to chill a bit worrying is really not going to be productive at this point, I mean will worrying about it change the fact that you are not sure about your petition? Sounds like you got a good petition, but you'll just have to wait your time. I'm sure you'll be fine.
