Congratulations! So happy for you! Did you end up escalating it to a supervisor after the 3 weeks? If so, how long til you got DQ after calling?

Congratulations!

Yes we did, it took two days for them to look at it after the supervisor review. Thank you !

Thanks for the info. I think I will call them Monday if I don't hear from them before.

I submitted my DS-260  and AOS on july 18.

When i login to CEAC the document status shows submitted. So my question is when does

the  status change to accepted?

Is it when we get case complete email or before that?

It takes upto three weeks to review the docs, if NVC finds some mistake or need more documents it will Let u know. If everything is alright, then u will get case complete. For some people its taking less than 3 week, for some more. Good luck!

Hello guys,

How are you all doing today?

It's unbelievable. I thought it would take 4weeks just like most people have said here but it was just over a week ago, when my wife and I finally submitted 16 different documents to NVC on ceac and only a few hours ago I received their email.

All documents were ACCEPTED except one - the AOS I-864EZ form.

NVC says that my wife does not qualify to use the AOS I-864EZ form. So my question is, what form does she qualify for?

(1) My wife is the petitioner of the family member sponsored on the affidavit (which is me). YES

(2) My wife is using her earned or retirement income, which is documented using IRS Form. YES

(3) The sponsored immigrant is the only person immigrating based on the underlying visa petition. YES

On the part 4 of the I-864EZ form which asked about Information About Household Size, the question on (1e) was:-  If you have  any other dependents listed on your most recent Federal income tax return, enter the number here. Answer (1).

Could it be that my wife is actually required to use that form but form was rejected because of this?

My NOA2 was on 7/09, I called NVC twice after that, my case is not there yet. Is it normal?

Also, there is no update regarding the approval of I-130 on USCIS website, neither one (regular and 2-step verification) reflects the update,  not even Case Tracker. No emails or SMS ever received, either.

If not for the snail mail USCIS letter as notification of NOA2, I’d thought the approval never happened and it’s just my sick imagination 🙄

Please let me know when you hear something from NVC. My NOA2 is July 11th, I called USCIS yesterday and they told me my case  is not not been transferred to NVC yet, :(

I will be watching your timeline closely to get a good estimate of what to expect my case numbers since we are close in approval date.

All be best, and i hope this stage speeds up for all of us.
