Interview is planned for the 7th of August, but I have to rescheduled because I'm traveling on the 13th of August so I can't risk not getting my passport in time!

Yeah like someone just said, you can’t compare CR1 cases to F2A. They are two separate categories.

I think ILs are being issued for F2A right now based on CC and PD. A lot of F2A cases with PD starting Jan 2017 or so have been waiting for a long time with their cases completed. I think ILs are being issued for them based on CC. Hope once they are done rolling them out, they'll resume CR1/IR1 category soon. I think its safe to assume that within a certain category, they roll out ILs based on CC. Not across categories. I could be wrong. It's just an observation.

NVC specifically told me that the categories are not taken into consideration when assigning interview dates.  Strictly based on DQ date.   So, they lied to me.
