Hey did New Delhi stop Immigration interviews for I-130 and K1's? I swear only see Mumbai now.

Yes in April 2018 all K1 and CR1/IR1 we’re moved to Mumbai only.

Case created is just when NVC created the case#. Could be an expedite, K1,  Who knows.

Can someone explain what this means?   This is a case status I saw today for a case supposedly created on Apr 5.   Case last updated on 4/26.   But interview hasn't happened yet?   How is this is possible?

This is a K1 visa and it's ready to schedule for interview. The petitioner is waiting for the packet with instructions from the embassy to pay fees and schedule biometric, medical and interview. Some choose not to process with K1 at all or delay for other reasons (job, family, etc) and they have one year to action. K1 is processed as an immigrant visa because it will be converted following marriage and AOS to immigrant.

Oh boy ...another week dusted off for Mumbai...total disappointment for those waiting ....if there is any no movement next week for Mumbai...start looking at horizon for September..it is what it is...nothing we all. Can do...hopefully they don’t give priority to F visa in September ...like they give for July and August...☹️🙏

Fill me in on the background if you'd be so kind...anyone receiving responses from Mumbai embassy, senators or NVC about the delay or issues that you all have seen last few months?

I'm just coming on board and trying to figure out the data on this AWESOME tracker (seems to be around 60-70 days for CR1 at Mumbai from what I can tell); however, have a feeling that some members in the near past didn't come back to update their dates. I'm seriously thinking about checking profiles to see if their timeline is updated differently lol!!

Except for very few from April who are still active in the forum the rest would have had their interviews scheduled. @Amit76has a May CC date but had his interview scheduled for July. It looks like Mumbai is prioritizing FB applicants.

That doesn't seem to make sense.   If they CC is June 6, they couldn't jump over others according to NVC.    Given that they are a numerically limited category, is it possible that they were DQ'd much earlier when they submitted the paperwork but the CC reflects when they were assigned the interview date?   If you know them, ask them when they got the DQ date.

I see from the spreadsheet that your CC date is April 8 but we have seen others with later CC dates who have gotten interviews for IR categories.   If they strictly go by DQ dates and your category is current, then you should have gotten an interview already.

Looks like Santo Domingo might be done with August interviews. They've scheduled quite a few. (see last pages of link provided).

I'm really hoping it's not true, but if anyone has some answers please shed some light.

Here is the link for India, but I do not see the scheduled appointments section: https://in.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/

From what I've been learning India has more than one U.S. Embassy so maybe play around with that link.

Here is the one for Santo Domingo for comparison: https://do.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/

The link was on the bottom right labeled "scheduled appointments"

Hope that helps. Good luck!
