Can someone explain what this means?   This is a case status I saw today for a case supposedly created on Apr 5.   Case last updated on 4/26.   But interview hasn't happened yet?   How is this is possible?

My birthday was Monday and I was praying I would get something from the NVC this week and thank the Lord, my prayers were answered. I last checked our status on CEAC last night around 7:00pm EST and it said "AT NVC", and when I checked this morning after seeing the email it says "IN TRANSIT", so I am not sure exactly when the switch happened.

 

Waiting for this IL was so frustrating. I have cried so much these past weeks, I never thought it would arrive, but here we are now. Stay strong and don't lose hope, your IL is coming!!

The case created is the day the case number was assigned by NVC.

When did u saw this....it definitely means your case is at Mumbai consulate for interview..call NVC to confirm the status

Yes he been here a week and adjusting well and I make sure he has credit to call home..so far so good..I also went to the African store to get his favorite things 😊

I realize that.   However, this case was READY for interview on 4/26??? When was the interview & why isn't it reflected here?   One would have to assume that it has already taken place if it was sent to the consulate on 4/26

I think this is a K1 visa, they must schedule their appointment by themselves.

Sorry for the delay updating the spreadsheet. It is now all updated.

 

Please people watch your spelling and how you complete the form to be added to spreadsheet. I just removed about 10 requests people putting nonsense in their VJ name and not checking. I do not have the time to verify and check all entries.

 

Also if you are on this thread you must complete the form to be added and have a timeline up and updated. These stats help the VJ community with stats. Thank you.

 

August dates are already happening so fingers crossed for those waiting for the good news.

Case created is just when NVC created the case#. Could be an expedite, K1,  Who knows.

Isn't K1 a Non-immigrant visa (technically speaking)..  why would it get an immigrant visa case #.

K1's Visa status is in the Immigrant Visa Status portal. Since really they are Immigrating. Looks like an expedite to me or a K1 also.

Agree. See lot of K1 approvals in June and early July and Mumbai.

yes. Only FB immigrant visas are processed in Delhi
