I sent our I-129F Packet on 5/14/07 and our check was cashed on 5/23/07, which was more than a week ago & I have yet to receive the NOA. I'm pretty sure I'm just being anxious, but don't know if it's cause for concern. After reviewing other couples' timelines on vj, it seems most received thier NOA before their check was cashed.

Any thoughts? Is there a way to check with USCIS if I don't have a receipt number for our case?

The receipt number should be on the back of your check. Can you go online to look at your checks that have been cashed? Or you can contact your bank.

Although, I have noticed several people lately that have had a delay in receiving their NOA1's in the mail. Keep in mind the MOST important hard copy is the NOA2. ;)

I received my NOA1s in the mail 2-3 days after the check was cashed. There was much discussion about the delay of NOA1s on the K3 forum in several threads because the NOA1 from the I130 is needed to file the I129F. After much anxiety by us April filers, the NOA1s finally started to roll in. There was a huge backlog at the VSC and CSC. The customer service line is saying all receipting will be caught up by june 15 at both SCs.
