Same WAC filer. Nothing new after Biometrics update.

I heard that filling n400 with a pending i751 can even make the process lengthier, as they will usually pause reviewing the i-751 and make a combo interview instead.

I really hope that's not true! I'm trying to avoid possible fee increases so I wanna file early. I also have faith in the San Bernardino local office lol

I think it means that VJ just uses an average of all i-751s in the estimation - it doesn't break it down by processing centers.

October filers at SRC are getting approved now, which is affecting the calculation I suppose...

My husband and I found out Saturday morning his new card is being produced. We were an SRC (Texas Center) case. We thought we were going to be interviewed because we were not interviewed for AOS and it had been transferred to our local office. So, it was a pleasant surprise! I guess whoever looked at our case was convinced with the huge package we sent last year. I am so glad we did not get an RFE, cause I literally have nothing else to give them except I am listed on his car title. Oh, and that we have a new cat. Haha!

Hi again- we are preparing for the N-400 filing and I tried to get the tax return transcript from the IRS but the website malfunctions when they ask you to verify the mobile phone number. We tried twice with accounts for both my husband and I and we did it in different browsers. So then we called IRS and they don't have anyone staffing the phone lines and they are no longer doing tax transcripts by mail. Does anyone know when they'll be answering the phones again for this service? Alternatively, is there another way to get the transcript besides the online/nonexistent mail/nonexistent phone service? Also we were wondering if anyone is ONLY planning to send in the tax transcript under the section 4 from the document checklist for the N400? it says:

4. Documents referring to you and your spouse:

  • tax returns, leases, bank accounts, mortgages, or birth certificates of children, OR
  • IRS certified copies of the income tax forms that you both filed for the past three years, OR
  • An IRS tax return transcript for the last three years

I was hoping we could just pick one option and personally I'd go for the third cause that is the most simple and straightforward. What did you guys do/What do you recommend? Did anyone send in all of the bank account statements from the past three years AND tax returns AND leases/mortgages? That seems like overkill, but then again nothing in these processes is intuitive.

Finally, did anyone have issues with uploading the greencard extension letter when applying online?

Thanks and please feel free to refer me to another better forum if this is not the right one.

I would post these questions in the Citizenship forum, you will probably have better luck there.

Great questions that made me think though! We're in a bit of a pickle because for some dumb reason filing taxes online hasn't worked for us (I think it doesn't like my two names). So we filed 2019 taxes by mail and although they were delivered, they haven't "accepted" them yet :(

Looking at the instructions though, taxes are listed under "documents to bring to your interview". I also understand that either transcripts or returns will work. You upload it once and it serves as evidence for A and D sections.
