I've seen someone on Facebook got approved at SRC, they say they had no AOS or ROC interview. It took them 9 months

How is that possible...

Some People are #LUCKY, more and more I think about it, I think ROC is unnecessary. they should give a 1 or 3-year conditional GC, then have either ROC or apply directly for N400. It makes no sense to have 18-month extension letter when everyone is probably going to apply for N400 in 12-months and most of them get approved within 6-months. I say cut down fees for ROC, make it a fee for 30-month extension. Let them apply for GC at the end of extension letter or if they're still married to their US Spouse let them apply for N400. ROC seems to me the extra unnecessary work on USCIS

I got approved at SRC. Filed in July so roughly 11 months. Got approved for the AOS in 9 months as well. Had an AOS interview but not the ROC interview.

We filed not too long after you and there have been five approvals within 50 cases of our number. There is some hope out there at least.

Say did your case got approved at src or was moved to national benefit center

Did u also get soft updates prior ?

Thanks in advance

The case is still active. We got a soft LUD on 5/15 with no other updates after that. We called the service center for something unrelated and asked them if there was any news and they said on 5/15 the case was transferred but they couldn't see where. We had an interview for k1, AOS, and now possibly for ROC. It blows my mind as we have about as much evidence as possible without having a child lol. We applied for her naturalization Tuesday.

Feels like nbc centers are slow

And from research i done means a intervieq or rfe is incoming

Looking for a long  waiting time

I sure hope not, especially coming from SRC which is approving cases from June 2019 forward like the wind! Cannot possibly fathom an RFE as we quite literally have no extra evidence that can be sent in.

Once case supposibly moved from src to a national benefit center it means they are incharge to prepare your case and forward it to a local office or atleast thats what i understood  from the offocer and if natuonal benefit center issues an rfe then they might approve it first without getting to local office

It very well could be at NBC. However, we did move from Texas to Colorado so it's possible they moved the case here as well. It's been a vastly disappointing process.

That sounds very frustrating indeed! We are just hoping the n400 application moves quickly after this joke USCIS has pulled. Denver is supposed to be relatively quick.
