My best guess is that I took it with my Biometrics appointment and it fell through the folder that I was carrying with me. I am usually careful with documents, do not know here I kept it. I do have a photocopy of it with me. I am just hoping to get approved soon without an interview and then I don't have to worry about it, but that is just a hope.

I searched around the house yesterday, and FOUND the 18-month extension letter. I feel relieved. Now waiting for 10-year GC

I feel ya,

I wonder if this goes longer will you need to do Biometrics again when they re-open? When we apply for N400, do we get another extension letter or do we have to go get a stamp on our passports while i751 and N400 are pending?

@Randyandyuni and @Phoenix777 I would love to hear your perspective too on this? Most of us will have 18-month extension letter expiring in Jan-Feb 2021 and this thing may go beyond that before we get N400 interviews

Hard to tell for sure on the redo of biometrics, personally I think they would waive that requirement since there will be so many people in that situation, however they may decide the Security concerns outweigh common sense.

for legal reasons, drivers license, right to work etc, I assume we will need stamps in passport and/or extension letters.

this is really a new frontier, no precedent to fall back on. At least they still appear to be generating green cards for those luck enough to avoid interviews

Last week we had someone check the system to see where each case is it, I forgot who was it but he/she used receipt numbers to find the processing steps those numbers were at.

It was me) still doing it...but unfortunately all movements now for cases which were filled in Jan/Feb/March 2019 maximum. Afraid we have to wait at least 2 more months without news...plus this delay with Covid...I really hope they will open offices in May...

Hi everybody!

Any July filers with LIN (or anywhere but we are personally LIN) have any movement other than biometrics?

Just getting antsy here. I know we're not even within average processing time yet, but would love to hear how everybody's cases are doing.

Heather & Hugo :)
