No, you're right. But we gotta be optimistic and send our applications on time. Last year I sent my I751 which they received on June 25 th so they sent it back because it was 89 days, gotta be careful this year

Why? If it's at most 90 days, why did they return a case filed at day -89?

So, they closed offices at least until April 1...Do you think will it affect us significantly ? Of course I want to think that they are still processing applications, but...don’t think it’s true...

I was told this recently. I had the world's worst officer for my interview on September 10 2017. I had already been told before this interview that my paperwork had been "mishandled" (short for lost) This woman was rude and accusatory. She said nothing to my husband. After 2 hours going through my paperwork, she told me my vaccinations had expired. ( after we got home I realized that she had not bothered to put back my birth certificate.-I was told when I called that they had no way of "finding it" and I would have to apply for a new one)  Not my vaccination papers but my 'shots'. She said I would have to have them again. Said I would be getting more paperwork in the mail. My vaccinations DID NOT expire. I ended up calling the highest office that I could 2 days later. I got an email stating, that day, that I had a new officer for my case. The next day I got an email telling me that my GC was on its way. I wish now that I had waited until October 3rd to complain as that would have been 2 years we were married and I would have received the 10 year! As it is now, my application for 10 year is in LIN and from the spreadsheet, most there for this skip biometrics for the most part and majority skip interview. So, I am waiting the apparent 10 months that this service center is taking.

Hi, what number you called to reach the highest officer. Thank you

Is everything going to be delayed or are we still going to file N400 online? Also, does USCIS work on cases during this time, like for cases where biometrics have been taken and IO can just look at application and approve it?

I think you will still file online should you choose, how they will handle the logistics is guess work on anyone's part I believe. Paper submissions would be more problematic, as if there is a work from home solution in place, tje transfer of large amounts of paper records might prove difficult, and the lack of security with sensitive information would open the USCIS to possible litigation. Do you want your financial records and Personal Information at someones house? I would not

I am filing online for sure. Do you think our N400 process will get delayed because no one right now is getting their N400 interviews, I mean the line will be backlogged at interview step, right?

Yes, depending how long this drags out I think the interview process will be strained, hopefully, they reduce the number of ROC interviews to lessen the volume of total interviews

can we expect GC in the mail during these times if we have done biometrics, I know processing time is different but if they are working from home without on-site interviews shouldn't the other processes  (like reviewing files and GC production and mailing it out) become faster

It depends on how they handle production of cards and mailing of cards. If these were deemed critical/essential activities and how automated the process is. If it’s man-power intensive to create and mail perhaps they delay. It’s a guess at best

Did research of thousands cases behind mine and see that numbers after SRC1990171XXX are moving, around 30 of them were approved today, hope it means they are still processing cases.
Guys, do you mind sharing first 7 numbers of cases? Trying to do more analysis about July fillers.

Mine is SRC1990481XXX
