Is the National Benefits Center the same thing as Nebraska Processing Center? Our case ID starts with "MSC".

No, if you have "MSC" then your case is at the National Benefits Center which is located in Missouri.
The Nebraska Service Center is a different location in Nebraska. The code for Nebraska is "LIN."

No. Nebraska is LIN or NSC. You are very fortunate that this stands for the National Benefits Center. The turnaround time at this center is the fastest of all!

Which option do I pick on the USCIS site for processing time. I didn't see an option for National Benefits Center

MSC used to be Missouri Service Center, I believe it is now the National Service Center. Nebraska has the prefix LIN

I don't know where you would find their current processing times. I do know that when I first applied for my K1, my case went there. Several people told me right away that I was fortunate because my case would get processed quickly. They were right. I applied at the end of Feb 2015 and had everything I needed by the end of April of 2015.

I asked on a new thread if anyone who filed this July and had their case transferred to Nebraska has received a biometrics appointment. Someone on that post stated that Nebraska was sending out biometric letters now for December 2018, and only now opening cases sent there from last October. I asked the poster how they knew this but my thread was shut down before they answered me.

So I will ask here again. Anyone who filed this July have their case transferred to Nebraska? And if so, have you received an appointment for your biometrics?

Wow, my case isn't at Nebraska, but that is quite shocking that biometrics sent now are for December 2018. Thank you for looking into that and sharing it with us.

What’s your timeline? How long did it take you to get your biometrics appointment? Thanks!

I sent my packet July 22, and got the biometrics letter August 24. My appointment was yesterday, September 3.

My service center is Vermont.

Nobody knows anything about Potomac filers ? My docs were received in TX on the 1st of July, got my NOA with extension on the 5th of July. Haven’t heard anything yet since then. Not really bothered but would be thrilled to see more updates from YSC filers.

I have the same timeline - Docs received in Tx July 1st, received the extension letter shortly after. My file is also in Potomac with no word on Biometrics. I know it will come in time
