Hi, How does the I751 work?   You receive an extension letter and then if approved you received the 10 year green cards, or is there an interview?   If the interview is not common, do most people here get approval just by the application?  Please help.. Thanks

Wow. Your appointment came fast for your biometrics. I am going away for a few weeks in another month. I guess I will have to get someone to check my mail and let me know if I get an appointment letter, so that i can call and change it if the appt. is when I am away.

You can sign up to get email notifications about any mail or packages coming to your address through USPS :)  this could help you see if you get any letters from USCIS while you are gone!

Thanks. I am getting a friend to take care of my mail and let me know if anything comes fro USCIS. If something came and I could not respond while I was gone,  because I did not know that it had been mailed to me, that would be no good.

Hi there,

GC Expires : 10/26/2019 (package can be set starting Jul 26th 2019)

Package sent 7/29/2019

Package received: 7/30/2019

No update yet - didn't know I could get text/email notifications so didn't fill that G-XXX form

Question -> I sent after the first date my package can be sent, but my application had a signed date before Jul 26. Is that a reason for rejection even though my packet itself was sent well after the 90 day window? I am so anxious :(

I don't think so, what matters is the received date. You should get your NOA by the end of this week, according to everyone's timeline.

How do we know that USCIS got the package? All I have is my tracking number and the last update I got was on August 5th: "Your item was delivered at 6.50 am on August 5th 2019 in DALLAS, TX 75266."

I did not opt for a signature but will receive a text message from USCIS once they have accepted my paket.

If you opted to get a text, you will receive that when they open your packet. You will also, a few days after that, receive a receipt in the mail.

My NOA or 18-month extension letter was dated 7/18/11 but I have not yet received the biometrics appointment letter. Is it normal or delayed? I sent my I751 application to texas service center

That's normal, after you receive your extension you wait for your biometric info. Not sure on the wait time but expect to wait weeks/months for this

Could any of you who filed at the beginning of July tell me if you received your bio-metric letter? And if you did, how long was given to get to your appointment? I have to go away at the beginning of September for a few weeks. I filed and received my I797 on July 24th. Am trying to figure out if I will receive the letter before I leave or if the person who is going to watch for the letter in my mail will receive it while I am away.
