So USPS never delivered your file? Did you confirm it with USPS?

It never got to USCIS.

I had requested to have USPS send the packet back to me.

So sorry to hear that! What was the issue? Why USPS hasn't delivered it?

Seemed like there was confusion with postage (I believe she said she sent the package in an express envelope but paid for priority mail shipping so because the postage wasn't enough, it did not get delivered).

Correct.

I have another kind of rumor, we talked to an immigration lawyer, even though we filed the petition ourselves....We were told that they were requiring the ROC interviews if AOS was waived, but that it can go either way (possibly because of backlog), but to plan on having an interview, especially if you apply for naturalization.

I don't think it is a rumor. It is on their website. They had a memo on 2018 about interviews and such.

If you went to a ROC interview, and have a normal application (Good evidence, and nothing extreme), you are more likely to have your interview waived. There are really very few cases would get both Interviews waived. Same, very few cases who would get both AOS and ROC interviews. By the end of the day, they leave the judgement to the officer in charge of the case, and with the backlog of cases, they are more likely to approve cases without interviews for those who are already interviewed considering the limited resources

FedExed my I751 to stated office in Texas on July 22, 2019. Received on July 24th. Receipt texted that day to me. Paper receipt received in mail today, August 1st. My case is now at Nebraska service center. Processing time on USCIS site seem to be wacked as it show processing times of 16 months and uses a case receipt date of August 2017 for inquiries!! Oh. Em. Gee. Another long wait ahead. Does anyone know if I can start the process for naturalization when my 3 year anniversary is near, even if I have not received any info on my I751? By the way, I only sent what was asked in the instructions. They did not ask for pictures nor for passports. I had 3 affidavits (originals) included as well. One water bill, our deed for our home, one electric and cable bills. Newest tax filing return.

Yes, you can apply for naturalization within 90 days of your 3 year anniversary. I have read that some people get a combo interview.

Did you also send proof of financial co-mingling, such as bank statements? If what you mention is all you sent, it doesn't sound like a lot to me.

Yes. Bank Statement and the check I sent them has both our names on it. I sent all that they asked for in the instructions. After all, if they did not think my marriage was valid after the interview with the officer, I would not have received my 2 year green card. I came in, after all, on a K1 VISA and photo's and all the rest was submitted prior to that interview where I was approved.

I totally agree with you, if only USCIS functioned based on logic though lol

But quality over quantity for sure, some need more than others to show bonafide marriage :)

I am not going to stress about this. I followed the instructions and gave them all they asked for. My file was "lost" for way over the time specified before I finally got my interview. I had to call our State rep. And then the interviewer was nuts. You can read all that in my updates. Anyway, if they want more information, they will likely ask. I have nothing to hide. I over loaded my stuff the first time. They let folks in from that 90 day fiancee show who leave their spouses months after they get married and there is filmed proof that they were using their marriage to get a green card. I also know someone else personally who came in on a K1 VISA and his wife decided the marriage was over 6 months after they wed. That was 2011. He is still here. LEGALLY.
