I don't think you needed to file again but just switch to ROC with divorce waiver at the interview.

Read this document: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/memos/i-751_Filed_ Prior_Termination_3apr09.pdf

I was gonna do that but my attorney said it's not the safest way to go about it so we filled again:/ 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you check around the forum that's how everyone has done it and if you read the document I linked you'll see that's how USCIS handles divorce waivers.

Filing again was an unnecessary expense and will create confusion.

This will need to be addressed at your interview.

I'm still waiting

I filed July 2019 . Still waiting as well

Is anyone who filed in Texas in July 2019 still waiting ?

Saw your post.  We are still waiting as of July 2019 I-751.  Filed N-400 July 2020 and still waiting on both.  Have you had any movement?  We are in Houston, BTW.

I applied for I-751 on June 2019.

I applied for N-400 on October 2020. After applying N-400 they called me for N-400 interview on April 2021. I passed smoothly but since my I-751 still holding, I continue to wait.

They called me first I-751 interview on July 2021, about 3 months later than N-400, and me and my wife answered all questions, interview end well. Still waiting.

I wanted to open a claim with a senator, ombudsman but when I contacted with my senator, she said I need to open a claim first. I hired a good attorney and the attorney said " I need to wait until end of the estimated time range on the Uscis website.

So, I am in California. The estimated time range for California Service Center is 7 to 11 months. I applied for I-751 on June 2019, exactly 32 months ago. I thought that I am over the estimated time range. But, the attorney said, even if I am in California, I need to check the processing time for "ALL FIELD OFFICES". Currently the processing time for All Field Offices for I-751 is 22 to 36,5 months. So, my attorney said I need to wait 4,5 more months.

Corona virus and I-751 process are same thing
