Ohhh Goshhh... why did they separate you and what are the questions they asked?

I don't know why we were separated, our case didn't have any red flags I think. The officer asked all sort of questions, from how we met (with specific details that I forgot because it was 10 years ago and she seemed mad because of that) to things from our daily life: our hobbies, our jobs, how we split the house chores, how we split the bills, our siblings, our cell phone carriers, how many TVs we have, etc. She wanted details for all those things, it wasn't just a general question and moving on to the next one. Also what our plans for the future are.

That's ridiculous. It reminds me of our Adjustment of conditions interview. The interviewer (immigrant with really poor English) was upset because we didn't have kids. She even highlighted in RED on our file "NO KIDS". All the time she was looking for that Gotcha question. My wife cried after the interview ended.

I, too, with such deadlines, and my office is also in New York. the case is ready for the interview from June 2020

It’s really terrible.

Let’s just keep our fingers crossed .... frustrating though.

did you have an interview on 751?

Yea.. I had my interview like 7 months ago, the officer told me he was thinking on getting my application denied, but it's been too much time after my interview, my application is been pending for like 22 months and the processing time is 12 months for Texas service center

and what did the officer not like?

I just logged into my account and saw that my status changed today saying that an RFE has been mailed. As far as I remember, my I-751 was super organized and detailed. I’m nervous about what they’re going to ask me for since I thought I sent as much as I could. Maybe since I filed back in 2019 and it’s almost 2 years later, they want to make sure my husband and I are still in a bona fide marriage? Anyone else gotten an RFE? If so, what’d they ask for? I know this is a case by case basis, just want to get an idea of what they’re asking for.

Has anyone with MSC ( National benefits center ) noticed any movement in regards to his/ her case, I think NBC is the slowest of all, since JUNE 2016, I haven’t heard anything about my case.
The waiting thing is really frustrating and I guess New York is really terrible.
Majority of the ROC filers that are being transferred from one service center to NBC are always scheduled or approved quickly, it’s really making me nervous and frustrated.
It’s really a sad thing to see people who file in late 2020 getting approvals and notice of interviews, I’m happy for them though, but it’s , at the same time, not a good feeling knowing there’s nothing you can do about it than wait to be called or approved without interview.

Finally got my interview date for removal of conditions. Conditional GC expired in March, so I had to get my passport stamped at local USCIS office. Interview is July 2021. 2 years after I filed my i751...Good luck, everyone.

Is your local field office in Chicago? I'm hoping this means they are moving through applications there! Good luck with your interview.
