Hi, congratulations with some movement, at least for N400. No one knows answer about this...sometimes it’s combo, sometimes just n400 but some people in Facebook group reported that their 751 were approved shortly after N400 interview alone..I would bring your spouse with you and inform IO that she/he is here just in the case...

what is your field office for N400 please?

Field office is Denver.  Thank you so much. What`s the facebook group?

Hello everyone, and happy new year.

My I-751 is pending, filed in July 2019. I filed N-400 in July 2020. My I-751 status hasn’t changed since December 31st 2019 (Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview)

Well, December 28th 2020 I received my N-400 interview notice (interview is February 3rd 2021)

My questions is, with my I-751 pending, would they do a combo interview or just the N-400?

Anyone in a similar situation?

Thank you!

Hi

I am in a very similar situation, filed I-751 July 2019 and zero progress at all, no biometrics or anything

Filed N400 in June 2020 and my interview is scheduled for January 21st. My local office is Denver as well.

I have no idea if its going to be a combo or not, but my wife is going to come with me just in case.

I will let you know what happens, especially as I have my interview a couple of weeks before you.

Hey guys, anyone’s case been transferred to NBC in Missouri? Below is my timeline and I’m confused why my I-751 was transferred to MO since I’m in California. Anyone else in the Bay Area with a pending 1-751 and N-400? I wonder if CA is just working slower.

July 2019 - filed I-751

May 2020 - notice to reuse biometrics

July 2020 - filed N-400

Aug 2020 - I-751 transferred to NBC in Missouri

Hi folks,

Hoping I can get some answers, I sent in my i751 package in July 2019 still no updates, I was not aware that I could have filed N400 even though I didn,t hear anything about the .751, my question is my job is alerting me that my extension will be up in March, will they be sending out another 1 year extension  in the mail?  can I go ahead and apply for the N400 now? also during the time my son has turned 18 can I do his N400 also? or will he have to do that on his own since he is now 18?

Thanks much

I can't answer all of your questions but

1. Will they be sending out another 1 year extension  in the mail? No, they won't. Your job shouldn't be asking for anything though, your status and ability to work legally will not change. You can search in the forum for other people's experiences on this/talking to employers about it. Presenting a GC is not a requirement. I've gotten jobs just presenting an unrestricted SS card and drivers license.

2. can I go ahead and apply for the N400 now? Yes, you can. I applied in June 2020.

I have my N400 interview tomorrow, still no indication if it will be a combo with my I751.

I contacted USICS (again, my online case status does not work) and they told me my I751 has been transferred to NBC and will be adjudicated by my local office, this is a new update as it was stuck at LIN with no movement at all before as far as I can tell.

Think this is a sign I might end up with a combo interview tomorrow? My wife is going to come with me, but my interview notice (Denver field office) does say I should come alone.

I had my N400 interview today (in Denver) with same day oath ceremony and I'm now a US Citizen!

Officer was awesome and made it a fun experience

I had a pending I-751 so I my wife came with me but was not allowed into the building initially. When the officer called me the first thing he asked was if my wife was here, so I called her and he met her in the lobby and checked her in so we could take care of the I-751 first which just took a few minutes.

I did ask about the delay in I-751 processing and the office basically said these are the lowest priority cases as they don't affect your status while they are processing.

The biggest bit of advice I can give is - if you have an I-751 pending when you attend your N400 interview, always take your spouse and assume you will have a combo interview no matter what the interview notice says

Hang in there everyone, your time IS coming!
