Hello all! I filed at the end of June 2019 (can't remember the exact date off hand, something like 28/29/30th) and had my case updated to say the new card is being sent. So no RFE, no interview. Did fingerprints November 2019, and had news until just this morning. Potomac (YSC). So hopefully some of you July YSC people will get some news soon!

Hi everybody, I don't think I've updated in a while but just wanted to say we're excited and nervous for our I-751 interview this month, in a couple weeks. I think we're mostly excited, but for me those last minute nerves are always there because the whole process is stomach churning. Any good advice for the interview? My husband feels very confident which is great because he's the immigrant, but it's still nervewracking!

Best wishes to all!

Anyone with recent  notification of processing of I-751....

I guess technically ours has? We have an interview in a couple weeks and got that notification that our status updated Sept 14 with interview Oct 26. We're in Iowa and original service center was Nebraska (LIN).

I just had my interview Oct 7, please do bring your passport (USC) that’s the first thing the guard in the entrance asked for. USC passport / my government issued ID and the appointment letter (just to be sure, i am not sure if its just here in my uscis office who would ask for that)

the interviewer asked very little things like:

What is your address? (she corrected the one she saw from her screen)

when is your birthday?

where do you work? Do you guys rent or paying mortgage?
how long (my USC husband) have you been working with your current employer?

the rest are just like telling stories.

i brought so much paperworks if in case they needed something but she never asked for anything until at the end of the interview when she said do you like to submit anything to us? Which i said yes, and handed her 2019 tax return and mortgage documents, and then she said this actually enough, i have approved your case, currently your case says “new card being produced”

wishing you best of luck!

That's great news. Congrats! I hope things move along. We are early July filers and also had fingerprints in November, and our case is in Potomac. Nothing has moved for us, but I hope this is a good sign.

So this was for my husband (he's Japanese, I'm the American) but, no. Want to wish everyone else luck on their citizenship, but to say he has no desire to become an American would be an understatement.

It would be a downgrade, so completely understandable

Still no news...SRC July 2019....soon it 15 months...((( contacted ombudsman- no result...”we can help after 20 months mark”....it’s insane...

It looks like you're from Australia. I lived there for 1 year. I remember immigrants complaining because it would take 3 months to become permanent residents haha

Hello everyone,

Haven't heard fron YSC since biometrics in Nov 2019. I called uscis and they said they are within normal processing times.

I went ahead and sent my n400 information on September 24th. They finally cashed the check October 14th. I received the receipt notice today and the case started with IOE. My case status online says the case is at the national benefits center.

I'm hoping they'll reuse biometrics.

Hi there, Potomac here. Same story, biometrics were done in Nov 2019, applied for n-400 online on July 12th, Got a letter that they reused my biometrics, but status online is 'we received your case'.

Good luck!
