Good afternoon all, hope everyone is safe.  Quick update on N-400.

Request to remove condition is handled by Potomac office, so no news since November 2019, applied for Citizenship in the beginning of July 2020 and today received notice from USCIS that they were able to re-use my biometrics.

Now waiting game.

That’s a great news.

You make me see some hopes. Same here, i751 is handling by Potomac service ctr, and applied n400 beginning of August, receipt starts with IOE. Hopefully someone taking look at my case as well.

I see there are few cases for July 2019 got approved yesterday. Meanwhile, my case status changed to "case was received at local office" I dont know what that means.

I think that's kind of a good news. It's most likely interview soon.

Did you have RFE? Did you apply for N400? Was your case previously transferred to some other office?

Any news for Vermont filers? My case is stuck in “Case was updated to show that fingerprints were done” since September 12, 2019. Applied to N-400 on June 13th and they have been silent about that case, too.
I am starting to worry.  😳

I got the notice today. My case is now at National Benefits Center. I'm hoping to get a combo interview.

I also got an email on 8/17 saying the exact same thing as the one on 8/14. Not sure if it's a glitch or what but I'll keep you posted if I get another paper notice.

As said many times before there will not be any furlough and job cuts.

"The House on Saturday unanimously passed a bill to provide emergency funding to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the primary agency running the nation’s immigration system that is set to furlough roughly two-thirds of its employees at the end of this month."

Well, no biometrics for me, they're just going to use my old stuff. All this furlough drama and this is the fastest and clearest USCIS have ever been with me. 4 days after sending my I-751 I get a text to say they've received my stuff. 10 days later a letter in the mail to say my green card has been extended by 18 months, 4 days after that another letter to say biometrics don't need to be done.  What's with the lightning speed and no-nonsense instant decision-making all of a sudden. 😆 🙃

Hi All, a rookie here so need some tips from you guys.

  • WAC/California Case
  • I-751 NOA July 2019
  • Biometrics Feb 2021
  • Current Status: Fingerprints taken.
  • N-400 Not filed yet

Questions:

  • Is it a good idea to file for N-400 Citizenship application ? Can this actually delay my Greencard ? Given my timeline, is it good idea to wait it our or just go ahead and do the N400 application ?
  • Is there a way to check approximate timelines on the I-751 processing times for WAC?
  • Is there a way to check approximate timelines on the N400 for WAC ?
