Hi everyone! How are we all doing? Has anyone had any updates? We had biometrics in November and nothing since then. My husband's extension letter expires in April of 2021, does anyone know how we go about getting another one? We are traveling to England to finally celebrate our wedding in June (COVID permitting, that's a whole other worry) and we are concerned that he won't be able to travel. Tough times for everyone. My timeline is very similar to your husband's, only that my extension letter expires in March 2021. I travel for a living (international sales) and have travel scheduled for Jan, March and April. I read that if the extension letter is about to expire you can ask for an appointment where they literally put a stamp on your passport with another extension. Please let me know if you find any information around.

Hi all, my timeline is the same. Fingerprints have been taken in November and Extension Letter expires in April 2021. As Aleac mentioned above, all you gotta do is schedule an appointment in your local office, and they will put the stamp with your receipt number hand written on it in your pasport and you shall not have any issues. After my attorney lost my first Green Card, i had  got that stamp in my passport and traveled just fine. Stamp is only valid for 1 year.

I've heard now they are NOT scheduling those appointments anymore.... and people have difficulties obtaining one. They do it just for emergencies.  I'm assuming due to Corona.

I'm following the Facebook group and people complain a lot about this.

That's concerning. And It's only going to get worse after August. What's the name of the Facebook group?

They are only doing it for emergencies at the moment because if Covid but if you don't have an emergency then you don't actually need it. Upcoming travel is usually considered reason enough to get a stamp. My letter expired and I got a stamp.

Hi guys 👋, i haven't posted ina. While because i was weird situation with uscis about my case. Here's a summary

Case approved june 11th 2020

New card being produced june 12th

New card being produced again june 26th

Kept on calling and spoke with 3 different officer and only one of them gave me some answers.

The answer was: there was a problem with my picture and they couldn't get it on the card.

I called back today, the officer didn't want to provide any other answers other than i wait for a notice to appear for another biometrics appointment and it's also worth mentioning that the officer was short tempered after realizing i called last week as well.

Now i got another update that erased the previous updates (new card is being produced) and replaced it with (finger prints have been take on July 17th)

I applied for n400 as well and there were lots of technical issues with their website as well. Fingers crossed

I did! I followed other people's suggestion to use Microsoft Edge instead of other browsers. Some people were having issues with uploading documents so make sure that's the last thing you do (meaning don't upload documents and then save a draft. Apparently documents don't save).

Good luck!

Oh nice!!! Thank you for the tip to using Edge browser. I am planning to submit tomorrow.

One question tho, when you apply n400 online, did you submit picture? On USCIS n400 checklist, said need to submit two passport photos , how did you submit it? Did you scan your picture?

thank you 🙏🏻 🤞
