Thank you so much, I'll prepare her I-131 now as well.

You can also file the i765 for your daughter,  allows for her to get an ssn needed for taxes

YMMV

Nice but not absolutely necessary.  OP can wait for Green Card to get SSN.  But the year is half over so getting the SSN is probably needed for next years taxes.

Kinda why I mentioned,  otherwise no utilitarian value for an eleven year old

YMMV

So do you think I should file the I-765 for my daughter who is 11 years old based on your explanation? Will it help us to file for her on my spouse taxes?

It will help to have a ssn for the family's taxes.

Can't claim her without.   With GCs taking forever to approve,  you will be glad you did

No additional charge for i-131 if filled with AOS i-485

For my daughter I am filing:

I-130

I-485

I-693

I-765 and I-131 are recommended and they are both free. Answer yes to questions 14 and 15 in Part 2 of the I-765: https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-765.pdf For question 27 in Part 2 put (c)(9)( ).

Also see the following guide for her I-130: https://www.visajourney.com/content/childpet/ "If you are a U.S. citizen and the father or stepparent of the child or son or daughter..."
